Cultivating Simple FAQ
How is this course structured?
Every other week for 10 weeks, a new session will go live on the private course blog. Each session includes a podcast, written lessons, and projects for you to complete at home. On the weeks when no new material is being posted, we meet in the forum.
What is the time commitment?
That’s ultimately up to you and what makes sense in your season of life. To make steady progress, aim for about 1 hour each week to read course materials and participate in the group, plus at least an hour of clutter clearing time — many students enjoy listening to the podcasts while clearing clutter, so you can double-up on those tasks!
How will I know when new content is posted?
Each Monday I will send you a quick email with a link to the new content — or, if it’'s a check-in week, I will share a link to the forum discussion and any scheduled live chats.
Is there a way to connect with other students?
Yes! Our private community forum is where that connection happens. Every other week, I will be asking you to check in with the group and share what you’ve been working on OR where you are feeling stuck. The forum is also a great place to connect between check-ins, since it’s open 24/7. I’ve also made a quick video tour of the community forum, which you can access right here:
Will I have access to the instructor?
Absolutely! I am very active in our community forum where you can post questions for me directly. I will also be scheduling regular live chats throughout the course so we can connect in real time.
How long will I have access to the course material?
The course runs for 10 weeks. After that time, you will have access to the course website and forum for 6 additional weeks. All podcasts and workbooks are yours to download and keep forever, and you will also receive a PDF ebook including all of the lessons + projects, so you’ll have that for reference, too.
Are you the right teacher for me?
My teaching style has been called “gentle encouragement” by more than one person. So if you’re expecting a boot camp-style drill sergeant, I think it’s safe to say this is not the right class for you!
I am ready to make room for what matters!
